  • where to find classes?

    Question:

I am interested in learning airbrush. I have never used this medium and I am looking for a school or business that may offer part time classes teaching airbrush art. Does anyone know where I could look in the area of Greater Vancouver, Canada. Thank you Robert

    Response:

Try posting this same query to the Airbrush.com web site http://www.airbrush.com/ There’s a very large cross-section of airbrush artists there and a number hail from Canada, so they could either offer their services if located in your particular area, or at least recommend who to talk to. Rob what type of airbrushing are you interested in? Remember that each surface needs are different.. If you are painting on textiles then you will need fabric paints if you want to do vehicles then  you will need to work with Automotive paints..Etc..Etc..Etc.. pick up some Mags.Airbrush Action,:Airbrush art and Action.. They both have all styles of Artwork. The brushes are all about the same with the difference of fine detailing or what type of paint feed system is to your liking… If you are starting out in this field or Art then buy poster paper and waterColour paint and start refining your air brushed line The whole technique is to be able to start a line from fine to thick lines and curves or reverse.. Practice and information on the project’s needs in paints and finishes….Sit down first with a cold one and a simple 2 step finger trigger and explore your ablility to redraw the image again and again…It’s a fine flowing Pen with the power to set in heavy areas as well as fine lines…… Raven/99 – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text –
